These terms are written in plain language. By using Million Dollar Scoreboard, you agree to them.

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the service is

Million Dollar Scoreboard is a digital novelty registry and collectible. You pay a one-time fee to claim one unique number from 1 to 1,000,000, assigned once and cannot be rerolled, reset, or exchanged. The number is saved to your account and may appear in a public archive. It is for fun. It is not gambling, a lottery, a sweepstakes, a contest, or an investment, and it has no cash value.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to use paid online services where you live, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate account and payment information.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Claims and numbers

• One paid claim assigns one unique number from 1 to 1,000,000, assigned once and never changed.
• A number is assigned only after your payment is confirmed.
• Numbers cannot be rerolled, reset, or exchanged. We may add transfers in the future, but a transfer would not change the originally assigned number.
• You receive a digital claim record within the service.
• "Own" and "yours" mean you hold the claim record for that number on this site. They do not mean legal ownership of the mathematical number itself, which no one can own.

Public archive

Claimed numbers, member numbers, and number traits may be displayed publicly in the site's archive. Your email and login details are not shown.

Pricing and payments

The current price is shown at checkout. Early founding claims may be offered at a lower introductory price. Taxes, if any, may apply.

• Each claim is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no recurring billing.
• The price shown by Stripe at checkout is what you pay.
• Payments are processed by Stripe.

Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. We do not offer a refund simply because you dislike the number you were assigned.

What this is not

This is a digital novelty collectible and public archive:

• This is not gambling, a lottery, a sweepstakes, a contest, or an investment.
• There are no prizes, winnings, or payouts, and numbers have no cash value.
• You cannot choose a specific number. Assignment is random.
• Buying a claim does not guarantee a rare, funny, recognizable, desirable, or valuable number. Most numbers are ordinary.
• All completed claims are final.
• Numbers cannot be rerolled, reset, or exchanged. We may add transfers in the future, but a transfer would not change the originally assigned number.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use bots, scraping, or automated abuse of our endpoints;
• commit fraud, bypass payment, or abuse chargebacks;
• attack, overload, or attempt to break the site;
• misuse reverse engineering to harm the service or other users.

Account removal or restriction

We may restrict or remove accounts that are abusive, fraudulent, or in breach of these terms.

Service availability and changes

• The service may change, pause, or become unavailable at times. We do not promise it will always be available or error-free.
• Public pages and archive statistics may update with caching delays, so counts and listings can lag slightly behind the latest claims.
• We may add, change, or remove non-core features over time.
• The core claim rules stay the same: one random assigned number per paid claim, no user choice of number, and no rerolls.

Intellectual property

The site, brand, name, design, software, and content belong to Million Dollar Scoreboard and its owner. Your claim record does not give you any rights to our brand or software.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing here is meant to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. If we make a significant change, we will update the date above and post the new version here.
