Million Dollar Scoreboard
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This policy explains what information Million Dollar Scoreboard collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language and may be updated as the site grows.
Information we collect
- Account information such as your email address and authentication credentials handled by our authentication provider. We do not store plaintext passwords.
- Your claimed number, member number, and claim status.
- Payment status for your claim (whether a payment succeeded), not your card details.
- Account metadata, such as when your account and claim were created.
- Basic technical and session data needed to keep you logged in and to protect the site, such as session cookies and standard server logs.
How we use information
- Create and manage your account.
- Process your claim and assign your number after payment.
- Display public archive data (described below).
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Respond to support requests.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the site.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. To process a payment and help prevent fraud, Stripe may receive payment, contact, and device information directly from you. Stripe's handling of that data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Public archive data
Claimed numbers, member numbers, number traits, and claim date and status may be shown publicly in the Hall of Fame, Statistics, and on public number pages. Your email address and login details are never shown publicly.
Service providers
We rely on a few providers to run the site:
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Supabase: authentication and database.
- Vercel: hosting and deployment.
- We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy.
Cookies and sessions
We use essential cookies and session storage so you can log in and use the site securely. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever add analytics, we will say so here.
Data retention
- We keep your account and claim records while your account and claimed number exist.
- We may keep payment records for as long as needed for fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute, and legal reasons.
- You can contact us with deletion or account questions. Because numbers are permanent and part of a public archive, and because some payment and legal records must be kept, we may not always be able to remove everything.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International processing
Our providers may process and store data in Canada, the United States, or other locations. By using the site, you understand your information may be handled in these places.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can contact us to access or correct your information, ask us to delete it, or ask any account or privacy question. We will respond within a reasonable time and do what we reasonably can, subject to the retention limits above.
Children
The site is not intended for children. You should be old enough to make online purchases, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. If we make a significant change, we will update the date above and post the new version here.
